I am on the belief that a change in the current judges will make everybody winners. It can bring back credibility to the show, to ABS-CBN, future contestants, viewers and load buyers/texters. The judges will also benefit from it; be saved from further uproar that may be they themselves have created due to incapability, ill-fitness, etc if current performance is not checked.
I have no problem (may be everybody too) about the personality of Kris and Ai Ai. It qualified them to judge the launching of the PGT which is good for them but they have to perform what is expected of them now/prove that they are qualified judges of the show. My concern is how they conduct themselves (supposed to judge only) and their subpar performance from what’s expected of them. Mixing it up with basic knowledge as to how a \"talent\" show is supposed to be handled and how the proven judges do their jobs only make their performance more questionable. A review of the tapes or quick rely from memory can easily reveal the concerns; sorry, too much to list them here.
I also believe that a credible judge is very important to a talent show. Thinking \"a judge decision is final\" and understandably \"judged parties and viewers can\’t just accept a decision that is not right\" brings more support to clamor for better performance from the judges. The viewers are very demanding? I believe they got this one right.
Just suggesting, its up to ABS-CBN to implement the best change and it is wished that the most deserving contestant will win. But this may not happen though if a judge fails to recognize the value of a talent presented in front of him or her. And this is where contestants who deserve to continue in the competition or potential winner gets voted out early. This is bad especially if the same contestant is not lucky to be re-evaluated somewhere.
Judging a talent is acknowledged to be difficult but it seems easy and could be done right with high degree of certainty by persons who are “cut” for the job as proven by the proven judges.

Best judges would be Gary Valenciano, Billy Joe Crawford, Sarah Geronimo, MArtin Nievera, Pops FErnandez, Zsa Zsa PAdilla, Vina Morales, Dolphy, Regine Velasquez, Kuh LEdesma, Sharon Cuneta…
I think that\’s why Kris was asked to be one of the judges is for the personality she has created.. she is frank /outspoken person, and somebody hated by the public but unconsciously effective and influencing ,…. to match up with the personality that Simon has created who is a frank,outspoken person, hated but influencing too..
The only difference is that Simon Cowell is a talent manager, producer.. or say..somebody with an attentive eye for talent potentials… who when compared here in our country is in level with Mr. M … Kuya Germs…Boy abunda??? ? Anabelle RAma????? and so on… Or has Kris ever handled talents ????? hehe
Anyway I\’m not a fan of Kris..though I like the way she defends her side and \"technically\" reasons out and brings out discussions..Admit it very smart of her. putting aside the contents of her talks.which are way too off….sometimes…. But then again, I just thought obviously, she\’s trying to fix that… and she really should ASAP… otherwise.. there will be great brouhahas out there..hihi…
For Ai Ai, hmmm… she is suppose to be the icebreaker..because she\’s a comedian concert star… somebody to break the tension.. you think its better if she\’s one of the host and billy rather take her position. haha>.,, anyway…
Their job as judges is difficult.. just imagine taking side on who is better knowing that the talents are different from one to another… It would\’ve been easy if it is a singing or dancing contest..because you can pinpoint who just nailed the performance…but sorry it\’s not..And maybe that is the point of the voting part which is strategically inserted to the criterion…to determine the top 3…and thus to lessen the pressure on the judges?..
WEll, Above all, I just hope that the PGT production will be better next time..just try to balance everything noting the significant comments of viewers at the same time.. pinning what the show is all about…I believe PGT know these things… really its just often times people elastically react to things they see and emotions they feel…
to the supporters of the different talents.. don\’t be too harsh.. you know.. like using punyeta,,, putang ina.ang pangit nun..your just suggesting to the higher judges..to incorpated in college curriculum values education..<hahaha > …take note….the name of the game is showbusiness….everybody knows how devious showbusiness is.. you know….like sometimes what we see is not really something that has happen kumbaga parang yung palabas lang to create something watchable….
nevertheless, ciguro nga your bets did not won the show prize or did not make it pero tHere are other real managers also out there who are watching the show.. just continue supporting your bets….>>>>>>>>

ABS CBN and Pilipinas Got Talent, please hear the people of the world. We love your show but do something about the JUDGES…. Judges should be fair and base their criteria for judging depends on the uniqueness of the talent. Please take the comments not as a negative criticism but a positive and a challenging reformation of judging.
Message to Kris Aquino – THIS IS A FAMILY SHOW, KIDS ARE ALSO WATCHING. PLEASE DO NOT BE SELF CENTERED PERSON who only thinks about yourself and your family’s reputation. HONESTLY ” We dont care”…
We just want to see pure fun and to see new exciting undiscovered talents of our fellow filipinos. This is why we want to watch variety and talent shows to entertain us TFC subscribers and we chose not to watch elicit comments from someone who doesn’t have a capacity to provide reasonable, positive feedback about the competitors talents and not whoever they have voted.
If you want to say thank you to the people who voted for your brother. Write an article in a news paper, go on tweeter or facebook. NOT ON THIS SHOW. PLEASE NOT ON THIS SHOW. Otherwise, people have spoken VOLUNTARY LEAVE!
And not only kris aquino but also Ai-ai.. they dont have the capability to judge. Kung talino ang binabasehan kaya napili as judge si kris ay di tama yun… dapat matalino na talented pa… kc kahit ano pa ang sasabihin ng isang tao.. pero kung siya mismo di marunong kumanta at di marunong sumayaw.. people will not believe on her/him. I would believe kung si Gary Valenciano siguro kc lahat na ng talent nasa kanya o di kaya si Sarah Geronimo.. kc kahit bata pa siya.. mas makakarelate siya kc she’s a very good performer.. di katulad ni Ai-Ai… she doesn’t have a good voice actually, she’s just a comedian.. good at acting right.. but they are not suppose to be the judges. Please nakakahiya sila na maging judge. Sobra pong nakakahiya….. sayang yung pagiging talented ng mga Filipino tapos katulad lang nila ang mga judge. It’s not fair.
Hopefully the ABS-CBN management will do something about the standing of the judges. Please do consider our comments. We are just viewers and followers of the PGT TV show but we also know how to judge. We don’t have friends or relatives whom we’re supporting to… we’re simply and just a viewer of the show.
We are Filipinos and concerned about the show. The ABS-CBN is shown worldwide. So it’s very inappropriate for kris aquino to judge the contenders by saying or mentioning the word “politically…. and so on”…
Halos lahat po ng mga nanonood sa amin di sang ayon sa mga judges; dapt isang magaling na singer, isang magaling na dancer ang ipapalit kina kris and ai-ai. Kc they are not really good at judging.. most of the time they do not judge according sa talent na pinakita… they are mostly basing their judgment emotionally… they should be tough, smart and fair. Tsaka they are not really talented to judge others… if possible yung multitalented judge like Gary V. SArah Geronimo, those celebrities who know how to dance, sing and act.
We are from Canada and my family loves the show as it features a lot of of undiscovered talents in the Philippines. It is definitely a good family show. The only concern is that my two children at the age of 10 and 12 watched a couple of episodes wherein Miss Aquino left comments about politics and how it affected his brother.
At a very young age, my children are very smart in asking questions and comments on how they feel about the show on how Ms Aquino provides senseless comments about politics and not about the talent of the competitors.
My kids observation at a very young age is that Ms Aquino has no sense of responsibility and should sometime consider to slap a tape on her mouth. On one episode she commented on how a city affected her families political affair. This is PILIPINAS GOT TALENT and not a political campaign. Please do not use the show to leave political comments. Her political affairs should not affect on how she judges. There are kids watching and not a good example.
ABS CBN, please consider the plea. Better manage your talents/judges. Otherwise we will take actions from your ABS CBN Supporters in North America.
Please consider to replace Kris Aquino. Ms Aquino is a liability to the show and should consider to voluntarily leave as it affects the credibility of her family and the show.

I think Aiai’s and Kris’ criteria of judging for them not to choose Fame to be one of the grand finalists is indeed baseless. They were not as objective as expected of them. Talent is an innate, personal gift, not the same as skill which is a learned process.I think Fame has the talent and has an aptitude to do a certain thing which is classical music, for her case.

Just a suggestion…there should be a WILDCARD round. This will feature a set of contestants that were talented but did not quite make it. Like Fame or Rolando. I think it’s the only way the judges (especially Kris and Ai-Ai) can redeem themselves. Seriously, a public apology is never enough. Look at our leader when she said “I am sorry”, did all forgive her?..

i was so happy with the result….it gives inspiration to people who have the real talent but not as beautiful as fame that they can win.and thanks to chris and ai that is a good example they dont look on outside beauty.. instead they look on the real talent…ai and chris you did very good…..

that’s why most of the time our fellow men who possesses world-class talents na didiskubre sa labas na ng bansa, bcoz not every Filipino appreciate it or recognize an extra-ordinary one, nka-set lang ang kaalaman sa talento sa kung ano ang meron o ginagawa o ka-tanggap2 ng karamihan, very traditional. it’s like they wan’t another singing-like Regine, Sarah, Gary, MJ, etc.. Filipinos are mostly like that.
Pero if someone got renowned internationally? ayon! nagiging makabayan na bigla, proud na to claim in the whole world as fellow Filipino, di pa na-satisfied..pilit pa edini-dikit ang sarili for somebody’s fame, nagpapahawa (perfectly, like Kris to Charice-Oprah), tao talaga greedy for more fame.

..im really a fan of the show thinking that this show has a high standard and the judges can judge fairly..last nyt, i was really disappointed about dyr dcission, it was pretty obvious that fame has really a unique talent..it is her style, she has a unique talent and she doesnt have to b like sumbody else..that kind of singing is her passion.. mr.fmg purely decides based on the performance of one person and i admire him for that.. sorry to tell but PILIPINAS GOT TALENT is neither an interesting show nor a credible show anymore..ms.kris put the show down and lowered its standards.. so sad im ms kris’ fan but now, i just don’t know. im hoping that the management would correct the kind of judgment the judges have. They should judge based on the talent and the uniqueness of one person to maintain the credibility of the show.. i salute to the answer of fame..just continue ur way of singing..

I’m not a fan of classical music but i believe Fame was more deserving to enter the finals rather than Sherwin. In my opinion, as of last night, PGT is no longer a credible talent show. Such a waste if not corrected by ABS-CBN management.

Talent is based on the unique characteristics a person can give. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED with the reason of Ai and Kris on the decision with Fame. I agree with Fame, JULIO IGLESIAS, JOSH GROBAN, F4, and other artists whose songs were not even understood by those intellectual persons in every part of the world, because they sung it in their own language(spanish, latin, pinyin, chinese etc..) but it made a phenomenal record. PLEASE BE FAIR! its not the language but the melody of songs. VIA DOLOROSA, is a religious song of suffering of JESUS CHRIST On the way to Calvary. Isang napakalaking insulto ito sa mga classical at broadway singers ng pinas.. =(

I was really disappointed last night, FAME is the one who is really deserving, I was expecting she was JOVIT’s toughest opponent.pilipinas got TALENT is no longer about talent, its all about popularity and Kris Aquino’s feelings or sympathy towards contestants. I was really upset when kris said na dapat yung bagay sa age nya ang kinanta and dapat daw katulad ng mga kinakanta ni charice..” OMG, that was the worst comment I ever heard from a Judge, so narrow. She has this beautiful operatic type of voice, what do they expect? Let her sing Rihanna’s Take a Bow? I will always Love you? So pathetic! What’s the problem with singing Opera songs in other language? That’s FAME’s talent! If kinanta ni Fame Cebuano song, sasabihin din ba ni Kris, “HINDI NAMIN NAINTINDIHAN”?

I really think that Ai-Ai and Kris made one of the worst decisions ever. So what if the song that Fame performed was not fully understandable since there were parts that were not in English nor Filipino? You can’t hold that against her. There are only a few operatic songs that are fully English and even fewer in Filipino so it’s really hard for her part to comply with such demands. And you know even though there were parts that were not really understandable, the emotions were there and it seems that she really conveyed the message of the song that no language can. This is “Pilipinas Got Talent” right? How can you say no to such Talent like Fame? And it would be such a pity to see FMG leave that judge’s table because he is the only one that makes wise decision. He is the only one that knows what true talent is. And as FMG said “the performance must be perfect”, was Sherwin’s performance perfect? I’m not saying Fame’s performance was…but it was more perfect than Sherwin. I mean come on, now you have Marki, Jovit and Sherwin and I will just laugh if my guess will be right, that the Grandfinal will be nothing more than a boring singing contest (no offense though). But if you just added Fame in the mix then it would be more exciting. Well that’s all I got. I’m still rooting for Fame and I hope that in the Grandfinals Alakim, The Velasco Brother, Ruther and in the semifinals the Violin Girl will not have the same tragedy as Fame did…This post means no harm to any of the judges or anyone. I’m just a bit pissed off. And I could imagine Simon Cowell watching Fame’s performance and the decision and saying “Crap…”

If you keep on criticizing then its an idiotic maneuver of trying to destroy the show. PGT looks for outstanding talent, something na-we can compete in the World’s Got Talent. Magkaiba sila sa Showtime kasi sa Showtime hinahanap nila ay aliw, sa PGT ang hinahanap is true, unmatched, long-lasting, and spectacular talents.
di ko nagustuhan ang pagpili ng judges..nais ko lang malaman bakit di nanalo ung batang 6yrs old na magaling magmotor..db talent un dahil imagine as his age nagagawa nya ung ganun not unlike don kay rock my world sikat lang sya pero kung tutuusin pa cute lang namn kahit nga sa goin bulilit pd na sya eh….teka ano ba ang pilipinas got talent? ano ba criteria? magaling ba kumanta, sumayaw, umarte..ay teka wala syang pinagkaiba sa showtime, star in a million at star circle quest kung ganun…wish ko lang may got talent ngang mattwag ung winner na mapipili nila. I’m very disappointed with their whatsoever JUDGES CULL.. It’s really unfair from the side of the contestant whose hoping and give time to practice harder for the preparation for the next round.. it’s ryt that the judges was only one to decide whose gonna be in in the SEMI FINALS without the contestant performing..IS FUCKERS THE PGT…
Talagang bobo si Kris dahil tuwing magsasalita walang sense. She asked the contestant a question if whether they would take the place of her students or not. She answered yes she would and Kris responded by saying that the decision wasn’t her’s but the boss. Why ask the contestant the question and then respond like that. She tries to make herself sound smart when you can see she is dumb everytime she talks.
Can someone please tell Ai-ai delas Alas to shut her mouth? Singing over a contestant is just rude! I realize she is some sort of famous clown in your little country, but she is nobody to me…just a loud, annoying distraction detracting from some otherwise beautiful muic. Can you imagine a REAL star like Simon Cowell or Sharon Osborne singing along with a contestant who is trying to put on his best performance???

Bobo ng judges. Aiai bases her judgements acdg to audience impact, Kris judges acdg to what she likes, not to the effort and talent of performers, FMG sucks, he wants ‘naiiba’ while admitting most singing performances which is the most common talent! Ambabastos p ng judges nyo. Kumuha kayo ng masprofesional.
One episode involving a military showed his body, embarassed by FMG by saying it is nt a body contest, though showing was asked by his co-judge. Bobo, ndi nga body contest, pero ndi rn dance, singing, o ano, bsta talent. E sa un ang talent.
PGT need a new set of judges, ones that are unbiased.
i wasnt suprised to find that many of the comments here share the same feelings i have for the judges of the show.
this is the most ridiculous talent show i have seen, people pass through auditions just by physical appearance not by talent.
no wonder MOST actors and actresses works in the Philippines never assimiliate to other countries, unlike korean dramas, japanese dramas, korean artists, japanese and etc. when was the last time you have heard of a Filipino that was famous in Asia (not just the Philippines mind you) or the U.S.?
charisse doesnt even count, you go on the street and ask an american teenager if they know who charisse is and they have no idea but ask if they know Lee Hyori or Utada Hikaru, most of the time they know who your talking about.
at its best, i finally realized that the artists who get famous in the Phil. have mediocre talent when it comes to the world wide stage. its because of judges like the ones in PGT that allow this kind of bullshit to happen.
i wouldnt mind if the pretty faces where allowed to win as long as they undergo years and years and years of rigorous training just to get some talent or fake some talent out of them but sadly this is not how the Philippines entertainment business runs.
I am a fan of yours. I also know that media is not only a source of information but also teaches values. Pilipinas Got Talent occupies a primetime slot. Children watch this too. It can’t be denied that they idolize “tv heroes” and imitate them. I saw one talent playing with electricity and showing he could withstand electric current. This should not be featured in this type of show. Children might try this despite reminders and parents might not be around to censor viewing of such performance. These are too extremes and are truly unsafe for the young viewers. Just a matter of opinion. thanks.

some of the talents were not given a fair time of exposure..i was fortunate to watch a live audition..may magagaling dun n band composed of siblings..they sang an acoustic version of man in the mirror..but come, the tv airing, hindi cla masyado napakita..mga less than 30 secs lng..sayang nman..the world was not able to see their talents..sna they wil be given enough exposure on the next episodes..galing nla e..go alvarez siblings!

concern kapamilya is right. all three judges are easy to please. i believe it will be better if the people who sits in the panel will be more balanced.
I have been watching Pilipinas Got Talent since its initial airing and find it a very interesting show. It provides another venue for Pinoys to showcase their talents. Pardon me, but I really don’t have the idea of PGT’s criteria on how a contestant can qualify for the next round. Off hand, however, I would like to presume that it’s primarily based on talent as the show’s title obviously suggests. Here are some observations/inquiries that might be worth looking into:
- if there are 2 Xs or 3Xs do the judges still need to vote?
- the judges are bias when it comes to physical features/appearance of the contestant(s). comments from the judges, “average ang singing, average ang dancing pero gusto ng camera ang mukha, pwedeng maging artista, etc.” (contestant moves to next round) this did not only happened once or twice. Kapag maganda o gwapo lalu na bata pa yung contestant na-oover ride ng physical features yung lack in talent.
- Subjective ang judges. Comment from FMG “I’m not really a fan of martial arts. I find it boring. I would say no.” audience and contestants wouldn’t like to hear this kind of comment especially from FMG.

my only comment is the judge they should not sing along with the contestant and also they should just watch and listen and they can only comment after the song is finish just what i noticed at the Jovit Valdivino while he was singing the 16 years old kid from Batangas he was singing FAITHFULLY by Journey.I can hear one of Judges singing along with him its very unprofessional she is just ruining the song
Just watched PGT for the first time last sunday!!…the show was great only the fact that sa bawat talent na nagpresent all the comments was positive!!…
what i mean is that i think the show would be better if there was more like a \"piers morgan\" thing. na parang isang judge na inaabangan ang kanyang verdict palagi, isang judge na parang isang antagonist sa show…isang judge na mahirap pabilibin, mahirap patawanin basta mahirap lahat!!…
isang judge na sobrang strict!!..yun siguro maraming mag a-abang sa show!!..
but i guess since bago pa man ang show they would find better ways!!
